Her name was Darla - a Bichon Frisé. She was born in 1975, and (in her later years) became a talented addition to many genre films. Darla worked with trainer Christie Miele on her most memorable role as "Precious" in The Silence of the Lambs. According to Miele, Darla's "big thing" was stealing socks.She was highly intelligent and loved being around people. Darla left this world in 1992 - leaving a rich legacy of canine characters behind!
